Terms of use
Last updated: 29 July 2026
These terms apply when you visit or use rebellionfringe.co.uk (the site), create an account, save a line-up, submit information or use any contributor tools. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. About the site
Rebellion Fringe is an independent guide to gigs and events taking place around Blackpool during the Rebellion festival period. It is unofficial and is not operated by, endorsed by or affiliated with Rebellion Punk Music Festival.
For questions about these terms, email info@rebellionfringe.co.uk.
2. Listings are a guide
We try to keep listings accurate, but artists, times, venues, prices, entry conditions and events can change or be cancelled at short notice. Check with the venue, promoter or official ticket seller before travelling or spending money.
The site does not sell admission tickets. Ticket purchases and directions open third-party services, whose own terms and privacy notices apply. A listing, favourite or alert does not reserve entry or guarantee that an event will take place.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your login details secure and tell us promptly if you believe somebody has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.
If you are under 18, you should use the site with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Individual venues and events may have their own age restrictions.
We may suspend or close accounts that are fraudulent, abusive, compromise the site's security, repeatedly submit misleading information or otherwise breach these terms. You may delete your account from your profile.
4. Venue, promoter and artist submissions
Do not claim a venue, artist or organisation unless you are authorised to represent it. Claims and submissions may be reviewed, corrected, rejected or removed. Approval is not an endorsement or verification of every statement submitted.
When you upload or submit names, descriptions, images, posters, logos, schedules, links or other material, you confirm that:
- the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- you have permission to submit and publish it;
- it does not infringe copyright, trade marks, privacy or any other person's rights; and
- it is not unlawful, discriminatory, threatening, defamatory, deceptive or malicious.
You keep ownership of your material. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, resize, display and use it as reasonably necessary to operate and promote the site and its listings. This licence ends when the material is removed, except for reasonable backups and material already used in published promotional posts.
5. Favourites, line-ups and alerts
Personal line-ups and reminder settings are convenience features. Browser and device restrictions, loss of connectivity, schedule edits and service outages can delay or prevent an alert. Do not rely on an alert as your only way of keeping time.
Push notifications are optional. You can withdraw browser permission or remove a saved item at any time.
6. Featured and paid listings
Featured placement is clearly distinguished from ordinary ordering where practical. If paid listing products are made available, the price, duration and specific placement will be shown before purchase.
Paying for placement does not allow a customer to publish unlawful or misleading content and does not guarantee attendance, ticket sales or any other commercial result. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumers cannot lawfully waive.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- interfere with the site or attempt to bypass access controls;
- introduce malicious code, scrape the site at a level that harms the service or use automated accounts to submit spam;
- impersonate another person or organisation;
- use site content or personal data for unsolicited marketing; or
- reproduce a substantial part of the site or database without permission.
You may link to public pages as long as the link is fair and does not suggest an affiliation or endorsement that does not exist.
8. Intellectual property
The site's original design, software, wording and database arrangement belong to the site operator or its licensors. Artist names, venue names, posters, logos and other submitted materials belong to their respective owners.
These terms do not transfer intellectual property rights to you. Normal personal, non-commercial use of the public guide is permitted.
9. Availability and liability
We may change, suspend or withdraw parts of the site to maintain, secure or improve it. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, the site is provided as a free independent guide and we are not responsible for losses caused by reliance on an inaccurate third-party listing, an event change, a third-party website or a failure to receive an alert where the loss was not reasonably foreseeable or was outside our reasonable control.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the service or law changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision. Material changes may also be highlighted on the site or by email where appropriate.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you keep any mandatory rights and may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
